Instagram stories give you a short glimpse into someone's life and are accessible for 24 hours. Instagram does, however, provide the story highlights feature for those stories that merit a lasting place in history.
Story highlights are grouped postings that may be found immediately beneath a user's bio on their profile page. These tales may be taken from your ongoing narrative or earlier narratives preserved in an archive you probably weren't aware of.
How to use instagram story highlights?
Go to your profile page, choose "Story Highlights" then click "New" and choose the earlier postings you want to store in a highlight to access this archive and create a new story highlight. Click "Next" button and give your new highlight a name after selecting these.
Additionally, you can alter the cover photo by choosing pictures from your camera roll or previous stories. When you're finished, click "Add" and your story highlight will be accessible to anybody at any time beneath your bio.
Simply press down on a story highlight to reveal the options at the bottom if you want to delete or amend it.
You can only add content that has already been put to your story; you cannot add any fresh movies or photographs directly from your phone.
Simply click on your story to reveal the "highlight" option in the lower right-hand corner. This will allow you to add a current story to your highlight.
Story highlights can give readers extra information about you or your company. It works well for marketing materials or private information you believe followers would find interesting. Additionally, it's an additional approach to arrange your profile and highlight the factors that are most significant to you.
